MODULE 2 · The 20 Seals
The 20 archetypes of the Tzolkin, and the one you were born with.
- The 20 Seals
- The four colour families
- What your Seal says about you
The Tzolkin has 20 Seals.
Think of them as 20 ways of being alive.
The four families
Red: Starts things.
White: Refines them.
Blue: Transforms them.
Yellow: Ripens them.
The colours repeat in order, five times.
Red Dragon, White Wind, Blue Night, Yellow Seed, and on to Yellow Sun.
Your Seal isn't a box.
It's the way of being you come back to when you're most yourself.
The names here (Red Dragon, White Wind and the rest) come from Argüelles's Dreamspell. The traditional Maya day names are different, and daykeepers in Guatemala still use them today.
Look back at this week. Where did your Seal's light side show up? Where did its shadow?
